Since we’ve recently featured a few post about 50 Cent, we just said hell let’s follow up with his new video and new artist Paris. The track is “Queens, NY” (off of his “The Big 10″ mixtape) and of course it’s an ode to his hometown Queens. The artist Paris, just signed to his label. It’s a hood song and yea, a hood video.

Will.i.am has a new video. As if he alone isn’t interesting enough it features J. Lo and Mick Jagger. The video is for his first single “T.H.E.” (The Hardest Ever) off his upcoming solo album #willpower. Throughout the video it features Will.i.Am going “hard” to defeat obstacles in his pathway, J. Lo comes in to deliver the hook via video feeds, and Mick Jagger climaxes the end with his larger than life space cameo. Overall, the end is pretty cool.  

The highly anticipated “This Girl” music video from Dancehall recording artist / producer Leftside. The new video which was directed by Chris “Icey Jace” Campbell features Choreography from Matthew Hann and Leanne Talbot alongside the production team of Zandanta “The One” Higgins as Production Manager, Kym (MakeUp), Christina Benjamin as onset Stylistand Cuban model Jessica Diaz who plays the lead role of a seductive hotel guest who later introduces her friend Madelaine Leiva to the mix.  

SMH is actually the name of 12yr Cori B’s new video. Cori B is the daughter of Snoop Dogg, and “SMH” is her 2nd single & video. We know you haven’t heard of Cori B? Could it be because another young artist just overshadowed her by releasing her video? Maybe so, but here is one difference we can note . . . Cori B is kid friendly. From her bubble-gum lyrics and “disneyish” videos, her delivery lets you know she’s 12yrs old. Kids need their music too!!!

A few days ago, HDP posted a behind the scenes look at Willow & Nicki’s “Fireball” video (click here), last night (Dec 7th) it premiered on 106 & Park on BET. Directed by Hype Williams, the video intro is worthy of a movie (oh wait it is lol) and it features some very creative dance moves; however, when the video premiered the “tweens” (7 consisting of 4 boys and 3 girls) HDP had the privilege of watching the video with said: “She looks stupid” “Why Nicki got on teddy bears” “This boring” and “I don’t even like the song”. The only thing to be agreed on was the moves done by the background dancers, especially raving over the footwork of the 4 male dancers and the spinning trick. RoadBlock Films! is starting 2011 off with a winner, a new Vybz Kartel video, “Give Thanks/Jah Jah Never Fail I Yet”. Latest installment of new Kartel videos, he was caught on set this past weekend with new recruits Lenny Mattic and Singa Blinga, filming their debut video “Look Out For Badmind”. Given the lyrical content of both songs, the video itself is minimalist theme but catchy upbeat animation. The video is professionally simple and looks great!

Check out Keida’s latest video – BUBBLE UP/DANCEHALL (CARENOT)  . . . combines the latest in dancehall vibe (bubble up) with a bashment throwback sound (dancehall (carenot). Keida is definitely creating her own niche in the world of Dancehall.

The WORLD CUP is THE biggest worldwide sporting event. This year it’s being hosted in South Africa. The theme song this year is WAKA WAKA – THIS TIME FOR AFRICA, sung by Shakira. I think this is a beautifully executed video, representing the African culture and the diversity of this event. People are asking WHY not a African singer, but Shakira, is culturally diverse, so why not her? And umm chica . . . CAN MOVE IT!!! Watch it below:
