Yes . . . Cheetah as in the Chimpanzee, from the old black  & white Tarzan movies, lived to be 80yrs old. The Chimpanzee died on Christmas Eve due to kidney failure at a primate sanctuary. Cheetah had been retired to the sanctuary years ago after his stint in show business.

Cheetah appeared in Tarzan The Ape Man (1932) andTarzan And His Mate (1934). He was largely popular due to the fact he could stand up (shoulders tall, back straight – as if to walk like a person) and to be able to speak (vocalize) on cue.
