“Right ya now it nuh pretty inna di city Babylon dem too tricky
And di youth dem trigga finga hitch it”
Debuting this week is the new video from Delus “Sticky A Road”. Blending images of life in Jamaica with the angst of a struggling family, it is a well executed video, directed by the artist himself.
As many videos now tend to just be a video, leaving you wondering what if any does it have to do with the song, this video captures the story of behind the lyrics. While “Sticky A Road” is a phrase common in Jamaican patois, the concept applies to the struggling classes worldwide, and ends on a solemn note featuring footage from the recent tsunami in Japan.
