If Dancehall had a “Boy Band”, Chekkazz would be it. Unlike the standard proto-type of boy band, Chekkazz is actually filled with naturally talented artist and dancers.
Started in 2005, Chekkazz has transformed into a 10 member entertainment group. Releasing “Sum’n New (Juss Buss)” in summer 2010 for Digicel, Chekkazz emerged from “just dancers” to “artist”. With recognition all over Jamaica and performances worldwide, Chekkazz are known best for creating and teaching dances such as “Set Me Free” “Punk Rock” and “Poor and Boasty”.
2011 promises to be a great year for these rising group of talented young men. Reach Chekkazz at chekkazzentertainment@gmail.com.
